Tania studied biology as an undergraduate and retains a lasting curiosity about science and the natural world. “Anthropocene” refers to our current geological era which is shaped by human influence. This body of work examines the evolving relationship between nature and human endeavor. The overlays celebrate human ingenuity and the remarkable, inventive structures we create, while also acknowledging how our practices reshape, alter and distance us from the natural world.
