Tania Dibbs is a contemporary abstract painter based in Basalt, Colorado, working from a studio and gallery in the Roaring Fork Valley near Aspen. Her large-scale paintings and sculptural works explore the intersection of nature, culture, and human impact through layered surfaces, movement, and material experimentation.
Her art is held in private collections across the United States and internationally, and has been featured in Aspen Magazine, Aspen Sojourner, and other regional and national publications.
Her practice moves between painting and sculpture, often incorporating texture, erosion, and built-up surfaces that reflect both natural processes and human intervention. The work balances control and unpredictability, inviting close looking and physical engagement. Visitors are welcome to experience the work in person at her Basalt studio.
